WE RADIO 2.0 (Modica, November 14-24, 2022) – Training Course on participation via Web Radio.

Associazione Attiva-Mente is pleased to present a Training Course on the participation of young people through the social use of a web radio. For this participation project, we are looking for 2 participants of both genders from SLOVAKIA and PORTUGALThe project will be held in Modica (Italy), from 14 to 24 November 2022.

The project foresees the participation of delegations from Bulgaria, Greece, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia and Portugal.

The project aims to provide participants with the necessary skills to be able to establish and manage web radio with a specific budget using non-formal education methods. The organizations, their young people and their youth workers will be trained with techniques that aim to help young people to create their own “brand” business not mediated by the “world” of adults but absolutely devoid of editorial lines, special interests and other impositions, becoming able to influence society. A way to experience democracy as a working method and to obtain an active participation of young people through a Web Radio.

Participants Profile

• Aged 18 or older;
• interested in the theme of the project;
• willing to develop pedagogical tools and experiences for the growth and / or the start of one’s career in the social sector;
• interest in internet technology

Attiva-Mente Association is happy to welcome participants with fewer opportunities and differently-abled. The course is designed to meet everyone’s needs in an inclusive way. The use of the English language is recommended, but the organization will meet the linguistic gaps, through the eventual translation.

The project is open to activists, young people, professors and educators, regardless of their level of knowledge of the English language and / or previous skills in the field of web-radio technology.

The project provides for accommodation and meals covered by the Erasmus + program and a reimbursement of travel expenses based on the distance in kilometers. Participants will be accommodated at the Ferro Hotel in Modica.
